Grove United Welcomes Colt Resnick to the Academy Coaching Staff

Grove United is proud to announce the addition of Colt Resnick as a coach for pre-academy U10-U12 for 2026, bringing a wealth of coaching experience, proven leadership, and a strong track record of player development to the club.

Resnick currently serves as the Men’s Varsity Head Coach at Monacan High School in Midlothian, Virginia, a role he has held since 2018. During his tenure, he has built one of the region’s most competitive programs, focusing on developing student-athletes’ technical ability, tactical understanding, and physical performance. Known for fostering a disciplined, positive, and team-oriented culture, Resnick emphasizes leadership, accountability, and sportsmanship both on and off the field. His responsibilities have included organizing daily training sessions, managing preseason and conditioning programs, and overseeing all aspects of team operations, including scheduling, travel, and equipment.

In addition to his high school success, Resnick has extensive experience in the competitive youth soccer landscape. He currently serves as a Head Coach with highly competetive travel programs at multiple age groups. In these roles, he has demonstrated a strong ability to evaluate player performance, assign positions, and implement effective game strategies tailored to team strengths. He has also consistently upheld high standards for discipline, accountability, and player development.

Earlier in his career, Resnick coached boys’ and girls’ soccer at the middle school level, building a strong foundation in athlete development across multiple age groups.

His accomplishments have not gone unnoticed. Resnick was named VHSL Region 4B Coach of the Year in 2025 after leading his team to a Region Championship and a State Semifinal appearance. He also guided his program to a State Quarterfinal finish in 2019, further cementing his reputation as a high-level coach capable of developing successful teams.

At Grove United, Resnick will play a key role in the Pre-Academy, focusing on developing young players during the most formative stages of their soccer journey. His passion for teaching, attention to detail, technical training, and commitment to long-term player development align perfectly with the club’s mission and vision.

Onesime Muepu Signs with Historic French Club Bordeaux

Grove United is proud to announce that Onesime Muepu has signed with FC Girondins de Bordeaux, one of the most historic clubs in French football.

Founded in 1881, Bordeaux is a six-time Ligue 1 champion and has developed players such as Zinedine Zidane, Bixente Lizarazu, and Jules Koundé, with a long-standing reputation in the French and European game. The club is currently competing in France’s fourth division (National 2) as it works through a period of restructuring and rebuild.

For Grove United, Onesime’s move represents another step in the club’s mission of building a high-level environment that prepares players to reach the next level of the game.

From Grove United to France

Onesime joined Grove United at the age of 18 and quickly established himself as a key

attacking player within the program, finishing as the club’s top goal scorer during his time with the team.

His pace, movement, and ability to impact the game in the final third made him a consistent presence in the attacking line and helped position him for opportunities at the next level.

Through Grove United’s relationships in France, Onesime earned the opportunity to train and trial with Red Star FC (Ligue 2 Club), marking the first step in his transition into the European game.

Following his time in Paris, he was recruited by AS Beauvais Oise, where he continued his development within the French system and gained valuable experience competing in a professional environment.

His progression has now led to his signing with FC Girondins de Bordeaux, continuing his advancement within one of Europe’s most historic football environments.

Matt Bolduc Joins Grove United Coaching Staff

Grove United is proud to welcome Matt Bolduc to our coaching staff. Coach Bolduc brings over a decade of professional playing experience across multiple leagues in the United States, along with a deep passion for player development and a commitment to high standards within a competitive environment.

Coach Bolduc began his professional career in 2015, building a career defined by consistency, work rate, and leadership. Over the past 10+ years, he has competed across the American professional landscape, gaining valuable experience at multiple levels of the game.
