Grove United Center-Back Amadou Mogossirega signs a pro contract with Gold Star FC in the National Independent Soccer Association (NISA). Amadou was a Grove United center back for the 2022 season and has now taken his game to the professional level.
“Amadou’s attitude, work ethic and professionalism showed that he was ready for the next level. Amadou is a dominating physical presence and has the next level mentality to continue advancing up the professional soccer pyramid,” says Justin Grove, Grove United President and Technical Director.
Path to Pro
Grove United strives to create a structure for players 16 and up that mimics the professional environment to prepare and showcase players for the next level. The Grove United pyramid features a path to pro for players like Amadou who have the ability coupled with the next level mentality and commitment.
“A key part of our mission is to create a path to pro for players who have the caliber, commitment and mentality. We are excited that we have been able to play a role in Amadou’s journey to the next level,” says Justin Grove
Gold Star FC is coming off a win against the Savannah Clovers and will play their next game on April 14th against Michigan rivals, Michigan Stars FC. Grove United wishes Amadou and Gold Star FC all the best for the 2023 season.
